Douglas Development has added Daikaya, Dangerously Delicious Pies and District Taco are slated to open this spring in DC's Chinatown and Penn Quarter neighborhoods.

Daikaya will occupy 5,400 square feet on three levels - 4,200 square feet on the main floor, 400 square feet on the top floor, and 800 square feet on the lower floor - at 705 6th St., which is next to celebrity-chef Mike Isabella's Graffiato, another Douglas Development tenant. The restaurant, under Sushiko co-owner Daisuke Utagawa, will serve authentic ramen bowls amongst other Asian-influenced dishes and will tentatively open in late spring/early summer 2012.

Dangerously Delicious Pies will occupy 500 square feet at 901 7th Street, NW. This will be the Baltimore-based pie shop's second DC location, and is expected to open in April 2012.

District Taco
will occupy 3,709 square feet, including a grill station and an elevated mezzanine area, just steps away from Metro Center at 1309 F Street, NW. This will be the food truck's first DC location, following the food truck's first bricks-and-mortar restaurant in Arlington. District Taco is expected to open in early spring 2012.
